The Consequences of Infections

This particular strain of staph was  a type called methicillin-resistant staph aureus. Methicillin-resistant staph infections have been on the risehas bacteria have mutated to resist traditional antibiotics. Factors that increase the risk of these infections include age environment and stress level.

It is widely known that athletes at a competitive level straddle the balance between peak conditioning and overexertion. Contact sports run a higher risk for this infection.Fells ended up having part of his foot amputated due to the infection hand it is unlikely he will continue his football career. Being aware of small cuts and keeping those ares clean can help lessen the chance of this deadly infection.
